EBOO: The Blood Purification Protocol Redefining Longevity Design
By Kenneth Bordewick, Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors · In clinical collaboration with Dr. Thom Lobe MD and Dr. Fouad I. Ghaly MD

Microplastics have now been detected in 100% of human blood samples tested — and in the lungs, liver, kidney, and placenta. The question is no longer whether your environment affects your biology. The question is: what are you doing about what has already accumulated within you?
For two and a half decades at Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors, Kenneth Bordewick has built one of the world's most exacting design practices around a singular conviction: that the spaces we inhabit are not merely aesthetic choices, but biological decisions. Every material, every fibre, every system within a home either adds to the body's burden — or reduces it.
Yet even the most immaculate Longevity Home — one designed to the precise standards of ÖND | Life's Breath™, with H14-grade HEPA-filtered air, whole-home water purification, low-VOC lime plasters, and EMF-shielded sleeping environments — cannot reverse the decades of accumulation already stored within the body. The living environment can stop new toxins from entering. It cannot extract what is already there.
This is where EBOO changes everything.
What Is EBOO Blood Filtration?
EBOO — Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation — is a sophisticated clinical protocol in which blood is drawn from the body, passed through a closed filtration and ozonation chamber, and returned, purified and re-oxygenated, to the bloodstream. The process systematically removes pathogens, oxidised lipids, inflammatory cytokines, and accumulated toxins, whilst simultaneously saturating the blood with medical-grade ozone.
The result is a cellular environment more closely resembling one's optimal biological youth than any lifestyle intervention alone can achieve.
As Dr. Thom Lobe MD — clinical partner to both Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors and ÖND | Life's Breath™ — has observed in clinical practice: “EBOO addresses the systemic burden that accumulates over a lifetime. When paired with an intelligently designed living environment, the effect on cellular resilience and longevity markers is remarkable.”
Dr. Fouad I. Ghaly MD, who co-developed the integrated wellness protocols offered through BHLI's physician partnership programme, affirms the same principle: the home and the body must be treated as a single, continuous system — neither in isolation from the other.
How the EBOO Protocol Proceeds
A single EBOO session typically unfolds as follows. Blood is drawn through an intravenous line from one arm. Filtration and ozonation occur simultaneously in a closed circuit — blood is never exposed to open air. Ozonated, purified blood is returned through the opposite arm. A session spans approximately 45 to 75 minutes, depending on the individual's clinical profile and toxin load. All protocols are administered by qualified physicians and tailored to each patient's inflammatory markers and longevity objectives.
The Convergence of Design and Clinical Precision
What distinguishes Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors from every other design atelier in the world is not simply the elegance of its spaces — though that elegance is, by any measure, without peer. It is the seamless integration of clinical intelligence into every commission.
A BHLI Longevity Home is designed around a complete biological framework: circadian lighting architecture that follows the body's natural cortisol and melatonin rhythms; acoustic environments engineered to reduce sympathetic nervous system activation; air and water systems that eliminate the very compounds EBOO then clears from within — all in service of a singular, enduring vision.
The home does the work of prevention. EBOO does the work of restoration.
“The most sophisticated longevity commission I have ever designed was one in which the client's home addressed every environmental exposure — and EBOO addressed every biological residue that the environment itself could not reach. The results were not incremental. They were transformative.”

The Role of EBOO Within the Quiet Luxury Framework
At Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors, the Quiet Luxury Framework has always been about more than restraint in material selection or the European atelier aesthetic that defines our interiors. Quiet Luxury, at its deepest expression, is the pursuit of invisible excellence — of systems working so perfectly, so silently, that the inhabitant simply feels better, thinks more clearly, and ages with dignity.
EBOO is the Quiet Luxury principle applied to the human body itself: an invisible intervention, producing profound and measurable results, without ostentation or theatre.
Clinical Evidence and Ongoing Research
EBOO therapy is supported by a growing body of peer-reviewed clinical literature documenting its effects on oxidative stress, inflammatory biomarkers, immune function, and mitochondrial performance. Key findings include reductions in oxidative stress markers including 8-OHdG and F2-isoprostanes following ozone therapy; documented improvements in immune modulation via ozone-mediated cytokine regulation; and clinical application in chronic fatigue, autoimmune conditions, and post-viral recovery.
The Wellness Design Principles framework at Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors, developed with Dr. Thom Lobe MD and Dr. Fouad I. Ghaly MD, incorporates EBOO as one component of a complete longevity architecture that addresses both the environmental and systemic dimensions of human health.
As with all medical interventions, EBOO must be administered by a qualified physician following a thorough individual assessment. Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors does not administer medical treatments directly; all clinical protocols are provided through our physician partnership programme.
Commissioning a Longevity Home
The most extraordinary clients who have engaged Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors — from the estates of Beverly Hills to penthouses in Manhattan, from palaces in the Gulf to residences across Europe and Asia — have come to understand that the home is the single greatest investment in their long-term wellbeing. Not merely as a financial asset, but as a biological environment whose design will shape the quality of every year lived within it.
The ÖND | Life's Breath™ methodology, co-developed with Dr. Thom Lobe MD and Dr. Fouad I. Ghaly MD, establishes the architectural and clinical standards by which a home becomes a living instrument of longevity. EBOO integration is available to all qualifying BHLI commissions through our physician partnership programme.
The Longevity Home prevents. EBOO restores. Together, they represent the most complete approach to human longevity available in private residential design today.
